First day of kindergarten

The 1st day of school! Jessica had been

looking forward to it, but she did have

an appropriate amount of 1st day

jitters.

Name tags had been distributed

the week prior, at "Meet the Teacher" day.

On the back of the name tag is written how the

child is going home - bus stop# or pick up

by parent.

We walked to school together. The flagpole is the
designated pick-up spot at the end of the day.

The teacher shooed the parents away as soon
as class started, so we don't have any
pictures inside of the classroom. When I
picked her up at the end of the day,
she reported she had a great day, and had
a stamp on her hand from the teacher to prove it.
